That means Simon Cowell joins Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and his good friend David Walliams for another trip around the country, trying to find some of the most talented acts to come out of Britain.

Ant and Dec will of course be hosting and guiding the audience through the weird and wonderful talents auditioning, and it's not long now until the judges set off on tour around the country to see some acts.

Kicking off on January 19 at The Festival Theatre in Edinburgh, Simon, Amanda, Alesha and David will travel to Manchester, Birmingham and London as performers do their best to impress and avoid the dreaded buzzers.

The Golden Buzzer is back, meaning each judge can press it just once in the series to send an act straight through to the live semi-finals.

Speaking ahead of the new series, Simon commented: "I'm really looking forward to starting auditions on Britain's Got Talent next week. I feel very confident in my role as a judge on the show and I look forward to hopefully finding a star. Amanda is so much fun to work with and has great instincts. Alesha has proved to be a brilliant judge, has an amazing eye for talent and is a pleasure to be around. And, then there's David..."

David is delighted to be back on the panel with "the three girls", and Alesha Dixon couldn't be happier to be "reunited with Simon, Amanda and David."

Amanda's looking forward to the show, adding: 'I'm really looking forward to starting auditions on Britain's Got Talent next week. I feel very confident in my role as a judge on the show and I look forward to hopefully finding a star. Amanda is so much fun to work with and has great instincts. Alesha has proved to be a brilliant judge, has an amazing eye for talent and is a pleasure to be around. And, then there's David...'
