Boris Johnson faces vote of no confidence
Sir Graham Brady has confirmed that Prime Minister Boris Johnson will face a confidence vote this evening, after receiving over 54 letters from concerned Conservative MPs in the direction the PM is taking his party and the country.
Having faced sleazy moment after sleazy moment, from Partygate to being fined for breaching his own rules surrounding the coronavirus pandemic, could time be up for PM Johnson? He certainly doesn't think so, and has welcomed the decision to try and get his so-called vision for the UK back on track.
The confidential ballot will take place this evening, with the results to be announced shortly after it closes at 8pm.

Axel Blake wins Britain’s Got Talent
It was a night of bumps in the road for a couple of acts on Britain’s Got Talent, but undoubtedly one of the most open finales in the show’s history. In the end, Simon Cowell’s Golden Buzzer act, comedian Axel Blake, was named winner of the 2022 series, picking up a cash prize of £250,000 alongside a spot at this year’s Royal Variety Performance.
Though many were happy for Axel following the win, others said that his previous work in the spotlight, namely a show on Amazon’s Prime Video service, meant that he had a leg-up on his fellow competitors.
Still, he followed all of the rules set out by the show and delivered the funniest performance of the night. Axel’s talent is undeniable and so, can’t we all just come together and celebrate one of the country’s most hilarious comics? We’re looking forward to seeing where he goes in the future!
Jesy Nelson’s solo album delayed
Unimpressed music bosses have sent Jesy Nelson back to the drawing board for her debut solo album. After leaving Little Mix over six months ago, Nelson dropped her debut single Boyz last October, which debuted at #4 in the UK charts and featured Nicki Minaj.
Despite the high debut, the song was met with a mixed response and once it dropped out of the charts, Nelson’s solo career seemed to stall. It would appear that this is because what was being created for the singer’s first LP hasn’t quite hit the right mark. Exactly where she goes from here remains to be seen, but hopefully she can navigate the course a little easier moving forward!
