Ant and Dec have allegedly postponed the much-anticipated 'SM:TV Live' revival.
The presenting duo were set to bring back the much-loved children's television show alongside co-host Cat Deeley later this year to mark the 20th anniversary of the programme.
But it seems they've hit a bump in the road as they have reportedly decided to push back plans for a comeback until 2019, after realising they have too much work on their plate with their other hosting jobs on 'Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway', 'Britain's Got Talent', and 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Ant and Dec are perfectionists and they don't want to do anything by halves.
"Given the massive interest in the show's comeback, they have decided to give themselves another year to make sure it's absolutely perfect.
"It's now looking like it will be a 21st anniversary celebration, rather than the 20th. They're aiming for 2019 instead."
It comes after the iconic duo, alongside Cat, revealed in January they were one step closer to bringing the show back to life after they pre-booked a studio to film in.
Ant said at the time: "We can tell you it's happening, it definitely happening, I'm on board, Dec's on board, Cat's on board. A lot of the old team are getting back together. I think we've just booked a studio, I think we've got some writers involved. So we're kind of at that stage really."
Whilst Dec seemed confident the show would air in September, as he added: "We're starting to put the little nuts and bolts together. It's very exciting, it looks like it'll be probably about September time."
'SM:TV Live' aired on ITV from 9.25am on a Saturday morning for three hours.
The award-winning show featured skits including 'The Beautiful Corrs', a parody of US sitcom 'Friends', 'Pokemon' fights, plus the 'Wonkey Donkey' game.
