Abbey Clancy has been crowned the winner of 'Strictly Come Dancing' 2013.

The 27-year-old model and her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec were "shocked" to take home the glitterball trophy tonight (21.12.13), ahead of 'Coronation Street' star, Natalie Gumede, and the bookmakers' favourite BBC Breakfast presenter, Susanna Reid, after receiving the highest number of votes from the public.

Upon hearing the result, the emotional 'This Morning' fashion presenter, who is married to Stoke City striker, Peter Crouch, said: "I just can't believe this. I am so shocked."

Asked how her daughter, Sofia, would take the news, Abbey added: "She's going to be so happy. She'll love this."

Aljaz, who only joined the series this season, said: "I can't believe it. What a journey, from day one."

He told Abbey: "I can only thank you, it has been incredible."

The duo's winning dance was a quickstep to Katrina and the Waves' hit 'Walking On Sunshine,' scoring 38 points.

Judge Bruno Tonioli said her performance was "absolutely dazzling in its brilliance", while Len Goodman called the blonde beauty "a spectacular dancer".

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and her partner, Brendan Cole, were the first dancers to be eliminated at the start of the second part of this evening's show.

The 'Murder on the Dancefloor' hitmaker, 34, wasn't upset about being booted off.

She said: "Don't say sorry. I didn't come here to win. I came here to dance and have fun, it's been incredible. We've had so much fun. I'm really really happy."

The three finalists then performed their favourite dances of the series and all of this year's contestants also danced as a group before the final result was announced.

Earlier in the evening, Abbey admitted winning the show would be a dream.

She said: "it would just be the perfect ending to the most perfect experience I've ever had. I couldn't have asked for anything more."

Robbie Williams also performed during the final.
