Abbey Clancy had a "ball" on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
Abbey Clancy - who triumphed in the 'Strictly Come Dancing' final last night has admitted she had a "ball" despite not going into the show to win.
This year's champion won in the final last night (21.12.13) against Natalie Gumede, Susanna Reid and Sophie Ellis-Bextor - who was eliminated earlier in the night - and she was delighted to win the public vote.
She said: "I've had such a good ball. I didn't come here to win, I came here to have some fun and to dance and it's been absolutely incredible."
Meanwhile, earlier in the show judge Len Goodman warned the all-female finalists that winner should not expect a career boost by coming out on top.
He insisted: "We've done 11 series. How many winners have catapulted their careers into a different atmosphere?
"I can't think of any. It's a big deal at the moment but next year it's over with."
One star who could get a career boost after the current series is Claudia Winkleman, who currently appears on spin-off show 'It Takes Two' and co-hosts the results shows on Sundays.
Len has told the Sunday People newspaper he thinks she would be an ideal successor to Sir Bruce Forsyth when he retires.
He explained: "Why not, if it ever came to Bruce wanting to quit, you could do worse than having Tess [Daly] and Claudia doing it."
