Doctor Who

Doctor Who

We're halfway through our Week of the Doctor here at Female First, and today we've decided to take a look at some of the creepiest and strangest monsters and villains to have come out of the series so far.

Weeping Angels

They're made of stone - so how can they possibly be of any danger? Quite easily it would seem, as they're some of the fastest species on the planet who will creep up on their victims when they're not looking at them - they can even move towards you when you blink.

The Cybermen

The Cybermen are an evolved species who have lost all emotions and had their bodies replaced by both plastic and steel, created on Earth's twin planet of Mondes. Hoping to invade Earth and take over, they're constantly looking for new ways of getting through the rift between planets, and they won't let anyone get in their way.

The Ood

The Ood are an alien race who can chat to other species through their translator spheres with mild telepathic skills. Unfortunately, Oods can be possessed by demons which leads to deadly consequences. If an Ood has red eyes, they're not looking for friends.

The Daleks

The Daleks are perhaps the most famous television villains of all time, created by Davros - responsible for billions of deaths all over the globe throughout time. The creatures hate absolutely everything that isn't of their own species, which even led to them killing their master - Davros himself. With that being done, they realised they needed him more than they knew, and so revived him, making him one of the most dangerous beings in existance once more.

'Doctor Who - The Day of the Doctor' airs this Saturday at 7.50pm on BBC One.
