Meanwhile, Daisha is having her scan. Paul sits with her looking at it and seems genuinely moved that he’s going to be a dad. Daisha and Paul share a moment, and she says that she wants him to play a part in their baby’s life. Daisha thanks Mark for his intervention and confides in him that she doesn’t just want Paul for his money, perhaps they should get married and move in together.

Mr Roberts talks Kyla into going to see a football game with her son, Maddy looks on and smiles as Kyla looks happy for once. Maddy is handed the post and sees a letter addressed to Kyla that is clearly from Abra. She decides not to make Kyla’s day any worse and hides the letter from her.

Linden finds out that he isn’t going to be a part of the separation and is furious at Sam’s decision. Sam explains that he’s too close to the case and might jeopardise the twins’ safety.

Connie receives a telephone call from her mysterious lover who has invited her to a hotel suite for a romantic night. Connie meets her man, passionately kissing him as he opens the door.

Mark goes to see Paul and explains to him that if he doesn’t love Daisha then there is no point to spending his life with her, as it will be their child who will suffer. Paul agrees and informs Daisha that although he will support her financially he doesn’t want to spend his life with her. Daisha, although upset understands that it’s the best thing to do.
