The BBC has released the first full-length trailer for the eigth series of Doctor Who, but are continuing to be plagued by problems as a rough cut of the first episode starring new Doctor Peter Capaldi has leaked online.
The official trailer reveals some of the villains that the Doctor and his companion Clara Oswald - played by Jenna Coleman - will be facing in the new episodes, as well as getting to know one another following the Doctor's regeneration.
First episode Deep Breath leaked in black and white, and had special effects missing - it's thought it has been downloaded when the scripts and other materials leaked last week, sent to BBC Worldwide's new Latin America office in Miami for translation, so that the episode can be simulcast globally.
Credit: BBCFans who saw the leaked scripts were asked by the BBC not to reveal any spoilers and stated the incident was to be investigated.
Doctor Who series eight comes to UK screens on August 23, with a screening planned in Cardiff for an undisclosed date before then.
