The EDF Energy London Eye is going to be the place to be over the late nights this summer, as it is found that Brits will stay up three hours longer than normal during the summer months. From 21st June the London Eye will be open as late as 11.30pm and later so the guests can enjoy the London Skyline by night with a tasty morsel to accompany.
The statistics found that Brits like to socialise for longer (52%) in the summer and that reaches nearly three quarters when looking at the under 30s demographic. Living like they are abroad, Brits tend to enjoy a later evening meal during the summer (52%) and 22% enjoy an evening stroll, often quoting the Southbank as their favourite walking spot.
The summer brings people closer together too as 65% say that they will make the effort to see friends during these months taking in the extra light and good weather.
The London Eye boasts a range of packages including Champagne and canapés, a new Wine and Tapas Experience and Sipsmith artisan distillers will be offering a range of bespoke gin cocktails to bring out the late night side of London. So if you are travelling to the capital then this is the place to be if you find you are a bit of night owl during the summertime!

We love being able to offer a late night experience – it shows London in a totally different light during the long hazy summer nights’
