Linden House is boutique hotel ideally placed in the historic village of Stansted Mountfitchet.
The property is actually made of two restored Georgian houses, converted into nine rooms, each with its own unique design that gels the old with the new. Each room has a large comfortable bed and antique furniture that has come directly from the house when it was an antique shop. The beauty room is now open for treatments and offers many other amenities that ensure your every need has been catered for.
Linden house boasts a fantastic 5* restaurant with a seasonal menu choice all put together with locally sourced food. The Head Chef, Tony Martin (who has worked alongside top Michelin Star Chefs, including Albert Roux) and his team of cooks have developed a menu that will suit every palate as you dine. Brunch menus and afternoon coffee are also available for these wanting a lighter sitting.
In the heart of the North Essex countryside, not far from London and Cambridge either by car or by train there is a lot to do without having to leave the grounds, namely the Mountfitchet Castle to the Norman Village and Audley End House and Gardens.
The airports only 7 minutes away by car for those wanting to unwind after a long flight or just before boarding.
