As British summertime finally gets underway, the heat is on to get tickets for what promises to be a scorching weekend of world-class music; the Tatton Park Picnic Concerts.
Now in their 19th year, the concerts will once again be taking place in Cheshire’s picturesque Tatton Park. Making a triumphant return on Saturday 31st July, the Hallé Fireworks and Light Spectacular will this year be hosted by Myleene Klass.
The acclaimed orchestra, conducted by Stephen Bell with special guests soprano Natasha Marsh and tenor Wynne Evans, will treat the audience to some of the greatest operatic music ever written, including pieces by Wagner, Puccini, Verdi and Bizet. The evening will culminate with an incredibly theatrical, percussive fireworks display that has to be seen to be believed.
Bringing the unmissable concerts to an end on Sunday 1st August is PARTY! at Tatton Park with Will Young, in association with Francis House Children’s Hospice, which promises to be a night of platinum hits performed by one of the UK’s brightest stars.
The stunning lakeside grounds of Tatton Park will provide the backdrop to a weekend of picnicking, incredible music and unforgettable firework displays. What better way to spend a summer’s weekend in the company of family and friends?
