Nile cruise
Boat cruises along the River Nile in Egypt are excellent opportunities for travelers to explore the vast and historical country.
Cruises often depart from Luxor in Upper Egypt, which is famously known as the City of the Living. Here, visitors witness the astonishing sights of statues, columns and the Temple of Luxor.
On the other side of the Nile is the City of Eternity, or Gurna, and is a noticeable contrast to Luxor.
Gurna is where the dead of Thebes were buried in old Egypt, and the area is laden with large tombs and temples.
Visitors may extend their excursion by spending a week or so in the Red Sea.
