The owner of one of the Yorkshire Dales’ oldest inns and first boutique hotels, the Wensleydale Heifer, has announced completion of a £400,000 expansion and guess what? There's a room DEDICATED to chocolate!
Already, the move has proved popular, spurring growth with strong forward bookings, months in advance for the new rooms. The themes of the rooms are “Champagne”; featuring a stocked fridge of 16 fine champagnes. “Chocolate Heaven”; with the promise of as much chocolate as you can eat, “True Romantics” for a special night for couples, and “A Night At The Movies” featuring a 46” 3D television.
David Moss, owner and chef, said: “The response to these new super-deluxe rooms has been outstanding, and we are already booked up more than a month in advance.
“I knew that the recession would not last forever and that investment was needed to help spur growth when the recovery started, so I was ready and waiting when the time came.
“There is nothing like these rooms in the Yorkshire Dales, so the combination of such luxury, award-winning food and the stunning surroundings makes us a must-visit destination.”
