Be economical
In the current financial climate it's best to look at the exchange rates before booking your holidays. Choose a destination where you'll get more for the pound. You'll save a fortune.
Travel at a different time
When booking your flights and hotel try to aviod times when there's big events on such as football matches and peak season's when prices are higher.
Package Versus booking seperately
Package holidays are great or grabbing a bargain, but before you commit check out whether or not it'll be cheaper to book the flights and hotel seperately. You may also give yourself more options that way and find more bargains.
Book at the last minute
If you're quite flexible on where you want to go and what hotel you go to, then hold off booking the holiday for as long as possible. There are always a great lot of bargains last minute, it's definatley the best time to book.
Down size
Down-size the star rating, ok not the most glamorous of tips but really, you'll sleep there, use the pool, does that extra star really matter.
