The newly launched New York Mini Adventure from TrekAmerica makes its first departure on July 4th. What better way to celebrate American Independence Day?
The trip leaves behind the bright lights of the city and ventures ‘up state’ to Finger Lakes and Niagara Falls.
The journey takes travellers to the Delaware Water Gap on the famous Appalachian Trail before reaching the night camp on the shore of the Finger Lakes. Travellers have the opportunity to hike to nearby waterfalls or sample local wine at one of the region’s many wineries.
Next stop is the famous Niagara Falls and a cruise on the Maid of the Mist to the base of the falls. This is an opportunity to get up close and personal to this natural wonder, but be prepared to get a little wet! Crossing over the Rainbow Bridge to Canada travellers will experience an illuminated night time view.
The final destination on this Mini Adventure is the all-American college town of Syracuse and a two-shopping spree at the Woodbury Common Premium Outlet Mall. It is filled with shops, restaurants and bars and is a great way to round off the trip.
The trip costs £269 per person excluding flights. Included in the price are: two nights accommodation, selected meals, the services of a professional TrekAmerica tour leader, private mini bus transport and Niagara Falls and the Maid of the Mist boat cruise.
