Britain's Queen Elizabeth celebrated the 60th anniversary of her coronation yesterday (02.06.13).
The 87-year-old monarch spent the day at her favourite estate, Windsor Castle, where she took in services at the residence's private chapel - and tomorrow (04.06.13) she will be joined by husband Prince Philip for a further celebration of her remarkable achievement.
The royal couple will attend a coronation commemorative celebration, which will be hosted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, along with Prince Charles, Prince William, Duchess Catherine and Prince Harry.
Elizabeth toasted her coronation a day early on Saturday (01.06.13) when she was joined by the Duke of Edinburgh and her granddaughters, Princess Beatrice and Eugenie, to take in the iconic Epsom Derby horse race in Surrey, south east England.
The queen - who is known to have a keen interest in horses and owns several equines - witnessed Ruler of the World romp home to victory in the 234th Derby in front of more than 100,000 racegoers.
Beatrice and Eugenie's father Prince Andrew was also in attendance at the race meeting, which attracted several famous faces including 'Les Miserables' actress Samantha Barks and British comedian Jack Whitehall.
