The Prince of Wales donned an apron to volunteer at a facility run by The Passage charity which he first visited with his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales back in 1993 with the royal being seen spooning carrots and parsnips onto plates and chatting with attendees.
In a video posted on the royal's Instagram account, he was seen listening to attendees' stories and talking to fellow volunteers. The caption read: "A pleasure to be back serving Christmas lunch at @passagecharity.
"Thank you to Claudette and the incredible volunteers who dedicate their time to supporting those experiencing homelessness. The selflessness and compassion shown in creating a warm and welcoming space during the festive season makes a profound difference."
It comes after it was revealed William and his wife Catherine, Princess of Wales helped make a dream come true for an aspiring teen photographer before her death from cancer aged 17.
Liz Hatton - who passed away in November following a battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer - managed to live out her dreams when the Prince and Princess of Wales arranged for her to photograph celebrities on the red carpet during an investiture at Windsor Castle.
Liz's mother Victoria Robayna, 43, told The Mirror newspaper: "Liz was still independent and loving life until the very end, which is exactly how she would have chosen it to be. We could not have asked for it to have been a better way for Liz.
"All any parent wants is for their child’s dreams to come true, and the Prince and Princess of Wales were a big part in making that happen.
"Liz’s final two months with us were the happiest we have ever seen her, and a lot of that was down to their kindness – we truly can’t thank them enough. “Before that day at Windsor Castle Liz had had some opportunities, but the meeting really brought her into the public eye and allowed her dreams to become reality."
Catherine and William were among the first to pay tribute to the teenager shortly after her death was announced.
In a personal message shared to their Instagram Story, the couple wrote: "We are so sorry to hear that Liz Hatton has sadly passed away.
"It was an honour to have met such a brave and humble young woman. Our thoughts and prayers are with Liz’s parents Vicky and Aaron and her brother Mateo at this unimaginably difficult time. W and C."
