Day 6 of the Royal Tour saw Prince William and Kate visit Yellowknife in Canada’s Northwest Territories.
The Duke and Duchess received an official welcome from the aboriginal peoples of the area, and Canada’s national pastime, Hockey, also found its way into the itinerary.
Their royal highnesses were given with personalised official team Canada jerseys, before the Duke tried out a wrist shot, and finally the Duchess dropped the ball for a face off to restart the game.
And to end off the day, the couple embarked on an iconic and vital form of transportation in Canada’s North, taking off by floatplane for the 30 minute flight to Blachford Lake Lodge, a quaint fishing lodge in the pristine wilderness of the Northwest Territories.
