Louise Webster, founder of Beyondtheschoolrun.com, has been announced as the winner of Britain’s Top Real Role Model 2014.
The annual competition launched by Amway UK is now in its fourth successful year and designed to uncover and reward Britain’s most inspirational entrepreneurs.
The mother of two young children, from Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire, was crowned the winner of Britain’s Top Real Role Model 2014 for her start-up enterprise, Beyondtheschoolrun.com, which is a place to inspire, engage and connect parents with the working world in the hours available to them.
Beyondtheschoolrun.com has been created to help parents unleash their untapped talents for their wellbeing and the wellbeing of society. Since launching Beyondtheschoolrun, Louise has developed her own skills in a new field of social enterprise as well as becoming a spokesperson within the newly created ‘work and family’ sector. Louise has been invited to No.10 Downing Street and the Cabinet Office to discuss the website, where she received full support for the enterprise.
Louise saw off competition from female entrepreneurs across the UK to take the top prize, which was judged by a panel of leading figures in enterprise including designer Savannah Miller, Amway UK Corporate Affairs Manager Sheryl Franklin-Worth and successful Amway Business Owner, Sally Brinner.
Beyondtheschoolrun.com will receive a £5,000 prize for taking the top spot to help towards the development of the website.
