From today until Christmas, Disney will donate £1 to Great Ormand Street Hospital Children's Charity for every purchase of their new app, Disney Fairies: Lost and Found.
The app has been created in celebration of disney's new film, Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings and the world's most famous animated movie creators will be giving away £1 for every 69p purchase of the app.
Disney has been partnered with the charity since 2008 and has focused on raising £10m for the hopital's redevelopment plans and creating memorable experiences for patients and their families.
The app, which was created in the UK, is a 'hidden objects game' that features the cast of of the new film which will be released on the December 14.
Explaining more about the game, Paul Brown, General Manager of Disney Interactive, said: "Disney Fairies: Lost & Found not only allows players to engage with the characters in the game but also understand the mission of a true Disney fairy and the importance of giving back at this time of year.”
“Disney Fairies: Lost & Found features enchanting images, dynamic animation and plenty of interactive elements that will take you by surprise.
"Help the fairies reveal their hidden fairy facts and discover the talents of fairy-favourite Tinker Bell and her friends in order to complete the game and claim a bonus Tinker Bell: Secret of the Wings storybook.
"Featuring new characters and scenes from the film, the interactive storybook is unlocked chapter by chapter and will continue to be updated with new downloadable content and features.
The game is available now on itunes and the trailer to the film is viewable on Youtube.
