With bonfire night over, new research has revealed that this week a quarter of people are now turning their thoughts to Christmas.
How to choose the right present for loved ones is the top Christmas concern, with two in five (41 per cent) people feeling under pressure to buy the perfect Christmas gift.
At this expensive time of year, financial worries are a major cause of festive stress. Over a third (37 per cent) of people are worried about being able to afford presents, whilst over a quarter (29 per cent) are concerned about the cost of feeding the family this Christmas.
Where to spend Christmas is another seasonal stress with a fifth (21 per cent) of families arguing over where to spend Christmas Day. Whilst, more than one in ten (12 per cent) say they are worried about who to invite to dinner in case they cause offence.

This week, Post Office branches across the country are getting ready for Christmas by hanging decorations in-store and giving out millions of advice leaflets on postage prices and last posting dates. Hundreds of extra Christmas helpers will be working in Post Office branches across the country on busiest days to give help and advice to customers. Also, from 26th November, hundreds of Post Office branches will be opening for longer to help make it easier for customers fit all of their Christmas errands in.
