Now in its 5th season, the children’s fashion collection Baby K, designed by celebrity mum, Myleene Klass launches a celebratory 10th collection, exclusively at Mothercare for Spring/Summer 2013.
Myleene Klass - musician and mum of two, turned business woman and fashion designer - first created the Baby K collection back in 2007. Since then the collection has gone from strength to strength, now reaching 21 countries worldwide.
Myleene and her Baby K models, Kayla Mae, Jayden Bell, Zachary Sharp and Ruby Brown marked the launch of the new collection at the Mothercare Oxford Street store, London.
Myleene said: “I’m thrilled to be celebrating the 10th collection of Baby K with Mothercare. Children’s fashion is a passion of mine and it’s been amazing to work in collaboration - exclusively with Mothercare over the last five years to create a range of clothes designed especially for children that can be stylish yet still practical and affordable.
“We hope the new range, inspired by fashion from around the world, will bring a little bit of fun and colour to children’s wardrobes this summer!”
Phase one of the new collection is inspired by Paris, with Breton stripes and quirky bows for girls and lightning bolt prints and surrealist graphics for boys - the culture and style of Parisian fashion transcends into each piece of the range.
Phase two sees Baby K travelling to St Tropez with tropical floral, leopard prints and wildly bright and uber tropical prints, perfect for fun Summer days
Simon Calver, Mothercare’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted that Baby K has been so successful with our customers since its launch in 2007. The Spring/Summer 2013 collection marks five years of offering our customers exactly what they want from Mothercare - exceptional quality and style at an affordable price.”
The range is available exclusively at Mothercare nationwide and on Mothercare’s free app.
