Comfort Pure fabric conditioner is calling on mums around the country to share their most cherished baby clothes moments.

Most parents have one or two favourite items of clothing because soft fabrics and practical styles all add up to comfortable, happy babies.

Now Comfort Pure – the fabric conditioner designed for babies, children and people with sensitive skin, wants to hear from real mums and their babies who’ve road-tested the best – and worst, the high street has to offer.

All you have to do is post or email photographs of your baby or toddler wearing their favourite item of clothing to the Comfort Pure team and tell us why you love it so much. The best pictures will be published on www.comfortpure.co.uk and some lucky mums and their little ones will be offered the opportunity to take a trip to the London Baby Show to strut their stuff on the Comfort Pure catwalk.

Follow GP Dr Sarah Jarvis’ easy tips below to achieve the perfect baby clothes moment:

Stick to natural rather than synthetic fabrics as much as possible, such as cotton. They let your baby’s skin ‘breathe’ and stop it from getting sweaty and irritated

Always use a fabric conditioner – it keeps fibres smooth and softens the fabric, reducing the friction and irritation to your baby’s delicate skin. A comfortable baby is a happy baby! Comfort Pure is designed for sensitive skin and its skincare research is validated by the British Skin Foundation

Use layers of thin clothes rather than very thick clothing when you take your baby out in changeable weather. That way, it’s much easier to peel off a layer or two when you get inside and the temperature is different

Always remove outdoor clothes when you get inside, even if it means disturbing your baby. They can overheat very easily otherwise. This includes hats – babies lose lots of their body heat through their heads, and it helps them to keep their temperature stable

Make the most of dressing your baby in the clothes that you like before they’re crawling. Once they’re on the go, practical clothes, which let them move freely, are more important than style – and by the age of four, your little one will have very definite ideas of what they want to wear!

Comfort Pure’s bid to capture the best baby clothes moments of 2007 follows last year’s Capture the Feeling campaign. This recruited parents and their babies – known as the Comfort-eers, from around the country to find the most comfortable, practical and durable baby clothes. The winning outfits were announced by celebrity yummy mummy Tess Daly at the London Baby Show and modelled by “Comfort-eer” babies and toddlers.

Don’t forget we’re looking for pictures of babies or toddlers up to four years old wearing their favourite, most comfortable clothes. However, if there’s a particular piece of clothing you and your little one hate then do send that in too, explaining why you don’t like it and it could make it into our rogues gallery!
