First time mums America's Dancing With The Stars Hostess Samantha Harris has given birth to a baby girl.

Harris, 33, and her husband Michael Hess welcomed their daughter Josselyn Sydney Hess on Sunday morning (23Sep07) in a Los Angeles hospital.

The pretty brunette, who interviews contestants backstage on the hit show, says, "Michael and I are ecstatic to have a little girl to welcome into our lives. We can't wait to introduce her to our family and friends in the morning!"

Josselyn Sydney Hess is Harris' first child.

Next up actress Salma Hayek is celebrating becoming a mother for the first time - after giving birth to a girl.

The Frida star and fiance Francois-Henri Pinault welcomed Valentina Paloma Pinault at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Friday (21Sep07).

A spokesman for the couple says, "Mother and child are doing well."

Valentina is Pinault's third child.

Then Welsh star Charlotte Church has given birth to her first child.

Church and rugby star partner Gavin Henson welcomed the unnamed tot on Thursday (20Sep07).

The 21-year-old singer - who recently expressed the desire to have a son - delivered her daughter at the Welsh countryside home she shares with Henson.

Sarah McDonald Noel Gallagher's partner is a mother for the first time giving birth to a baby boy.

Donovan Rory MacDonald Gallagher was born in London at 11.15am on Saturday (22Sep07) weighing 3.4 kilograms (7.5 pounds) after seven hours of labour.

The Oasis star, 40, told pals the couple chose Donovan after the 1960s singer of Mellow Yellow and Sunshine Superman and Rory because it is a "traditional Irish name".

Sara, 35, describes her new son as "truly beautiful" and a spokeswoman for Gallagher adds, "They are both overjoyed and delighted."

Noel is also father to seven-year-old daughter Anais by his ex-wife Meg Mathews.

In baby related talk former Ally McBeal star Courtney Thorne-Smith is glad she waited to start a family late in life because she would have been a terrible role model when she was a fitness-crazed 20-something.

The actress is expecting her first child at 39 and believes past attempts to get pregnant fell flat because she wasn't ready to be a good mum.

She tells USA Today newspaper, "Children learn what they live, and I'm in such a good place now. I dealt with my compulsive exercise years ago. "I do believe I was only able to get pregnant because I dealt with my issues."

Finally Halle Berry isn't planning on stopping at just one child when she gives birth next year (08) - she'll be trying for a second straight away.

The pregnant actress taped a segment for pal Oprah Winfrey's show Oprah on Thursday (20Sep07), in which she spoke publicly about her baby news for the first time.

Insiders claim Berry's baby bump was clearly visible and she told Oprah she's anxious to have a second child with boyfriend Gabriel Aubrey as soon as her first is born early in 2008.

The actress, who announced she was three-months pregnant earlier this month (Sep07), also confessed that she took 33 at-home pregnancy tests before she got a positive.

She also told Winfrey that she doesn't want to know the baby's gender until the tot is born.
