Good news! A new survey from Kinder and the Woodland Trust reveals that we’re spending longer than ever before with our children: 26% longer than we were at the beginning of the decade to be precise.

Of the parents asked, almost all (96%) said they wished they could spend more of this time outdoors. In the video below child psychologist Dr. Elizabeth Kilbey and Shaun Nixon from the Woodland Trust explain why that’s such a good idea and suggest some ways that parents can achieve it.
