Shaun The Sheep
Shaun the Sheep Comic teams up with UKs leading bullying prevention charity Beatbullying to help prevent bullying this Anti-bullying Week (November 19-25).
The team behind the comic have created an exclusive anti-bullying comic strip AND this special cover for the current issue, in support of Anti-bullying Week.
In the comic strip, Shauns friends are having a hard time with some farmyard bullies, so they all get together to stand up against bullying.
The message is loud and clear together we can bleat bullying!
Beatbullying and Shaun the Sheep Comic have also created fun, interactive bullying prevention resources online, for kids at home or in school to get involved with.
Sarah Dyer, Director of Beatbullying says:'It is very hard for childrens charities to credibly get important messages out to children and young people.
'They dont consume traditional media, thats why this endorsement from Shaun the Sheep Comic is so important.
'Seeing Shaun and friends stand up to bullies will help the lives of children all over the country.' Natalie Clubb, Editor of Shaun the Sheep Comic agrees:'Shaun the Sheep Comic is delighted to be able to support Anti-Bullying week, and we hope children everywhere will enjoy and take inspiration from Shaun and his friends in our special comic strip.
'Were proud to be associated with the Beat Bullying campaign, and hope that the online resource pack will enable children to see that by working together, not only can you have a lot of fun, you can also make a real difference and put a stop to bullying.
'Shaun may be just one sheep, but with the help of the flock, he can do anything. Its exactly the same when it comes to standing up to bullies, and thats what we want everyone to remember.
