All we here about at this time of year is protection from the sun, making sure that we're keeping in the shade at the hottest points of the day, regulary applying sunscreen and drinking enough water to keep us hydrated.
But what about the little ones?
Protecting children from the sun is a hard task, especially when they get a little too hot and want to take all of their clothing off.
Cuddledry have come up with an incredible item that protects toddlers whilst they play safely in the sun.
The sea creature inspored SPF50+ poncho towlels are the first of their kind in the UK. They use patented Rayosan technology which acts like a mirror, deflecting harmful UVA and UVB rays off the towel - as opposed to them being absorbed and damaging your child's skin.
"This remarkable technology comes from Australia, where extensive research has been done on the dangers of skin cancer. Given the forecast for a hot summer this year and climbing annual temperatures, we wanted to bring the same protection to the UK," says Helen Wooldridge, co-founder of Cuddledry.
The towels are suitable for children aged 1 to 3 and cost just £22.99, available from their website.
