According to a new technology survery the only other bigger 'no go' areas for parents to talk about are sex and fashion.

However, despite modern technology being a 'no go' area for parents, 95% of parents think modern technology can help their children's learning at school. They believe technology will help engage children at school in areas they find difficult. 3 in 5 parents think technology will help their children achieve better grades in exams. Unfortunately, most schools are not living up to parents expectations.

Only 20% of schools use technology to a sufficient standard according to the research conducted by Becta. There is hope that by 2011, schools will then be using technology to a better standard that will let children gain a more rewarding and exciting learning experience. It would also help the students in the future, when they leave school they would have better skills that businesses are after.
