Simon Cowell, the nation's favourite Mumbo
New research by Hallmark Cards has found that there is a rise in a group known as 'Mumbos' - men who are comfortable about having a close relationship with their mum.
The study also found that 43% of men claim that their mum is the number one woman in their life. Eighteen per cent of men even admit to looking for similar characteristics to their mum when it comes to choosing the woman they marry. This is compared to just 5% who look for someone who is great in bed!
Being a Mumbo is attractive to women though with over three quarters (77%) of females asked seeing it as a positive trait. They said they believed it shows men have strong family values and are respectful to women.
Despite his mean exterior, Simon Cowell is the UK’s favourite Mumbo with 27% believing he has the best relationship with his mother and proving he has a softer side, Chris Moyles is also rated highly as a UK’s favourite Mumbo (18%).
