Primal Rock Rebellion have their debut single, ‘No Place Like Home’, now on release through the Spinefarm label.
The single is released as a strictly Limited Edition black 10" vinyl exclusive from What Records, and as a digital download. Both formats feature the brand new studio recording ‘Bright As A Fire’.
The video for ‘No Place Like Home’ was co-directed by Mikee & Meats Meier, a renowned CGI artist based in Los Angeles who provided the illustrations for both the single & album artwork...
'Basically, ‘No Place Like Home’ is a song about escapism,' explains Mikee. 'As you can see from the video, the verses are about someone going into a city, and all they see is darkness, negativity & despair.
'It’s about feeling really claustrophobic and wanting to go somewhere else - somewhere magical, somewhere that probably doesn’t exist. I think a lot of people have that in their lives, at certain stages. So it’s saying, ‘There’s no place like home but it ain’t here!’
‘No Place Like Home’ & ‘Bright As A Fire’ feature on the forthcoming Primal Rock Rebellion album, ‘Awoken Broken’ - an 11-track outing produced by Adrian & Mikee, and due out on February 27th, also via Spinefarm.
In addition to a digital download the album ‘Awoken Broken’ is released in two Limited Edition formats - a Deluxe Digi CD and a double Marbled Purple & Red vinyl in gatefold sleeve.
