With all eyes on South Africa this summer, 2010 heralds the arrival of Africa’s biggest rock band The Parlotones on the global stage with their anthemic new single ‘Push Me to the Floor.’
On 10 June 2010, The Parlotones will make history as the only African rock band to perform at FIFA’s Kick-Off Concert alongside Alicia Keys, Black Eyed Peas and Shakira to a global audience of millions and ‘Push Me to the Floor,’ their irresistible ode to lust at first site and one night stands is a song that is set to break the band internationally.
Fresh from a sold out UK tour with Ash, the band are booked to support Muse this summer and are performing at the V Festival and headlining The Shepherd’s Bush Empire. UK debut single ‘Life Design’ spent 6 weeks on the Absolute playlist and the band’s music is being regularly played on MTV Rocks and a host of other music channels and on sports programming for BBC Sport, Sky Sports and ITV Sport.
