'Bring Out The Blues' is the blistering new single from Sheffield quartet, The Little Million. Hot on the heels of their R1, XFM and 6 Music featured debut 'You And Me Against The Universe' the track further previews the bands unique meteoric thrash pop, space rock sound.
“‘Bring Out The Blues ‘is a song about being stuck in a relationship with someone who always has to have their own way...at any cost!”, says front man Jimmy. Loosely based on a friend of the band, the character is portrayed in The Little Million's typically quirky yet intelligent manner as spoilt and self absorbed, and describes a relationship where even the smallest disagreement can erupt into a public spectacle in the blink of an eye.
The Little Million have a loyal following built from consistent touring of both the UK and Japan, and are preparing to release their debut album 'Satellite' on June 14th 2010. Produced by award winning rock producer Carl Bown (Fightstar, Laruso, Funeral For A Friend, Slipknot), 'Satellite' is a hugely accomplished and impressive rock record, boasting the finesse of Biffy Clyro’s recent orchestral period with added QOTSA melodic crunch and My Chemical Romance pop edge.
Having supported the likes of Feeder and The Parlotones already this year, alongside their own solo shows, there is no doubt that 2010 is the year for The Little Million. ‘Satellite’ is a rock album to anticipate!
'Bring Out The Blues' will be available on digital download from all major retailers. Debut album Satellite due for release June 14th.
