The Killers will release a new single from their #1 album, Day & Age, on February 9th. Spaceman, the follow up to the albumâs massive first single, Human, gets its release ahead of the bandâs biggest UK arena tour to date, a tour that includes two nights at Londonâs 02 Arena.
Day & Age is The Killersâ third album. The follow-up to 2006âs Samâs Town and 2004âs Hot Fuss, it is filled with the soaring vocals, epic choruses and the remarkable songwriting that has won The Killers legions of fans, radio & chart hits and multiple awards worldwide.
From the synth atmospherics of âHumanâ to the powerful, chunky guitars and horn swells of âLosing Touchâ and the dazzling anthemic âSpaceman,â the songs on Day & Age are endlessly impressive. Never ones to stagnate their sound, the album also contains some of The Killersâ most adventurous material â âGoodnight, Travel Wellâ is a seven-minute long epic, while âI Canât Stayâ mixes one of Flowersâ most memorable choruses with shimmering, hazy tropicalia. Yet, for all the musical terrain they cover, the end result remains the same: it sounds like The Killers and it sounds spectacular.
