Family Force 5’s massive dance party is set to explode across the UK this summer with the launch of their debut single ‘Dance Or Die’ on May 17th. The eponymous track from the bands recently released mini album is a swaggering, synth-fuelled rock anthem with attitude to burn and a chorus to carry you through the precious sunny months.
The band, comprising of brothers Solomon ‘Soul Glow Activatur’ Olds, Jacob ‘Crouton’ Olds and Joshua ‘Phatty’ Olds and completed by Derek ‘Chap Stique’ Mount and Nathan ‘Nadaddy’ Currin have been building quite a reputation for themselves off the back of their outrageously energetic live show.
It was this irrepressible presence which saw them supporting Cobra Starship on a sold out stint in the UK earlier this year and feverish anticipation develop for a string of live shows scheduled for this July, culminating in a much coveted spot on the main stage of the Sonisphere festival.
‘DANCE OR DIE’ is the sound of a band finding its own voice and hitting the ground running. Its throbbing bass and an eccentric pop nous will surely have kids across the country feverishly attacking their local dance floors and obeying the titles command as if their lives really did depend on it. So put on your dancing shoes and get ready for the FAMILY FORCE 5 party to be the soundtrack to your summer.
‘DANCE OR DIE’ is released on May 17th 2010.
