Since forming in late 2010, the all-female quartet that makes up Oxfordshire based Evarose, have wasted no time in developing quite the name for themselves.
The band, whilst still very much a new face, have already been tipped by key rock media as one of the hot new bands to look out for this year, with magazine features, TV channel playlisting and online video exclusives placements already under their belts too.
Recorded by Ben Humphreys and John Mitchell (You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, Lower Than Altantis) at Reading’s Outhouse Studios, and clocking in under the 20 minute mark, ‘Elements’, is an EP bursting with ambition and promise, with songs about the trials and tribulations of adolescence and the self- discovery it presents.
Check out their hilarious video for 'Change' below, of which singer Dannika Webber says, "we've always wanted to do a fun video where we got to dress up in numerous outfits and this song fitted especially well.
"Obviously the title of the song is fairly self explanatory but I guess this is just our way of having a laugh at a lot of the modern music culture where image often takes a greater hold over other aspects.
"It was a really fun shoot and making fools of ourselves always comes naturally."
Having already shared stages with with some of the UK’s heavyweight rock acts, as well as appearances at the Hit The Deck and Takedown festivals, their confident live show has also set tongues waggling. You can catch them at the following forthcoming live dates:
