South London rapper Sneakbo returns with new single ‘Zim Zimma’, the next instalment to be released through independent record label Play Hard, on 29th October. Ahead of his debut album, ‘Sneak To Da Bo’ due for release later this year.
With over 20 million YouTube channel views notched up in little over a year, recommendations from the likes of MistaJam, Huw Stephens and Fearne Cotton and listed as Drake’s favourite UK rapper, the support continues and the fans persist on jumping onboard the ‘Jet-Ski Wave’.
Originally from Lagos but raised in Brixton, South London, Sneakbo remains faithful to making tracks telling of street life, good times and the party lifestyle. Growing up and surrounding himself with the sounds of Tupac, 50 Cent, Mavado and even Linkin Park, it was his diverse love of music which has helped to shape his assorted musical offerings since.
From the rock laden ‘Sing For Tomorrow’ through to the heavy dance vibe of debut single ‘The Wave’ (which in turn was heavily supported by Radio 1 and accumulated over 1.5 millions views on YouTube alone).
Not just content with making music, Sneakbo combines music with also being a clothing entrepreneur, with his own fashion line ‘Jet Ski Wave’.
2011 also saw Sneakbo support Rick Ross on his London date as well as continuing to solidify himself as the endorsed sound of the urban club scene. After a phenomenal response at Wireless Festival this year and with a diary bursting full of UK and European dates as well as many club appearances, it’s full steam ahead for the rest of 2012.
‘Zim Zimma’, produced by Ill Blue (Rihanna, Roll Deep) is undoubtedly certain to be chart topper and club banger. Extremely catchy, with its thumping baseline accompanied by Sneakbo’s infectious and effortless flow, it’s a summer anthem of epic proportions.
Not just helping to fill dance floors across the UK but those across the party isles too, the certified sound of summer has arrived.
Sneakbo’s ‘Zim Zimma’ will be released by Play Hard on 29th October
