Well, most shocking of all is that we were expecting to hate this song, but it’s actually pretty good you know!
Luke isn’t quite convinced though, he’s still seeing Preston as the Ordinary Boy’s star pre-Big Brother, where of course, he was a lot better and more down to earth. This new single seems to be a lot like electronic hard-fi, as good as it is.
What’s more, the chorus doesn’t seem to stick with any of us though, [Alex proceeds to hum the chorus back to his fellow bandmates] okay okay, it might stick with you for a little while, but not for long!
Overall it’s quite forgettable this song, Alex has even admitted that if it came on in a nightclub; “I would just shrug my shoulders to this song. I wouldn’t even head to the dance floor!”
He says that ready to be a popstar now, but I think he lost any credibility when he stormed out of Never Mind The Buzzcocks…. that’s why were having such trouble giving him a mark out of five. I think we could have given it two and half… but since his tantrum on Buzzcocks we’ve knocked off half a mark!
