Just Jack – The Day I Died

Just Jack – The Day I Died

Oh my, this is possible one of the most depressing song’s of the bunch! Although Just Jack has made quite a name for himself in the music buisiness, we just don’t need a guy telling us what we do every day.

He sings about getting up, making coffee and going to work, WE KNOW, we do that! But we don’t want to die at the end of it, and we can’t really see how the day we die could be the happiest day of out lives. I mean, how would we know? We’d be dead, surely you’re devoid of emotion then?

Steve reckons it sounds like a bad song by The Streets, but it’s clear Just Jack is no Mike Skinner, and it seems Alex would be inclined to agree with him; “Tell just jack not to leave the beach bonfire until he comes up with a good song!”

Luke though is still confused by the whole sentiment of the song bless him…; “the day I dies was the best day of my life… at least he was happy when he died maybe?”

In short, they guys thing this single would be nicer to listen to without him on. Ouch!
