Rebecca Newman has added another accolade to her belt, after becoming the first British act to win Artist Signal as well as $10,000.
The monthly event sees one artist from around the world compete for the cash prize, and with over 20,000 votes more than the second place artist, Rebecca becomes the first classical singer winner as well as first Brit.
Artist Signal is a free social media platform which allows listeners to vote each month for a top artist.
Entirely up to public votes, fans of each artist are allowed to vote only once per hour.
Rebecca was a member of the site for just two months, making it a huge achievement to be crowned in February.
"I am absolutely delighted to have won Artist Signal and I am thrilled to become the first British winner. This is such an exciting time for me and I can't wait to share more of my music with the world." she said following her win.
Rebecca is now currently planning a major choir project, hoping to create a recording and music video to celebrate the Tour De France arriving in Yorkshire.
Dozens of choirs from up and down the United Kingdom will get involved, recording a lead track from her new album 'Heroes To The World' - a sporting anthem for the 21st century.
