Talented 16-year-old soul artist Dionne Bromfield will be one of the first live music acts to perform at the Olympic stadium, when she headlines a list of British artists performing at the Gold Challenge Olympic event on 1 April.
Bromfield, mentored by the late Amy Winehouse, will be joined by up and coming urban artist Angel, plus the internationally renowned vocal group and two time Brit award winners BLAKE, for a fantastic afternoon of entertainment in a unique setting.
Also confirmed to attend the first Olympic test event are Britain’s Got Talent winning act Spelbound. The UK’s number one beat box group The Boxettes will also be performing.
The action packed day, in aid of Gold Challenge, the UK’s only Olympic & Paralympic based charity challenge, will also include celebrity 100m sprints, relay races and a Gold Challenge Olympic parade featuring Team GB ambassadors and international rugby and sporting stars.
East Londoner Bromfield, who in 2011 collaborated with rapper Tinchy Stryder to record the official Olympic Torch relay song ‘Spinnin’ for 2012’, said "I am really excited to be one of the first to perform in the Stadium.
"For me it is a real honour as I grew up very close to the Olympic Park and am really looking forward to the Games coming to my hometown."
Limited tickets are available from just £12* for what will be the first chance to enter the stadium which this summer plays host to some of the most prestigious events and biggest names in the world of athletics.
*Please note: ticket prices will increase as of Thursday March 15 to £20
