It has been announced that boyband JLS will be taking the baton and performing this year's charity single for BBC Sport Relief.
With five UK number ones, over five million records sold, two MOBO awards, and two BRITs, they are clearly up to the job.
The boys visited projects in Uganda to see how the money raised from Sport Relief can make a difference, and were shocked at just how desperate people are for help. They have written and recorded the track, which is called 'Proud', and will be available to download from March 18 - with physical copies in shops the following day.
Sport Relief alternates with Comic Relief every other year, and is all about raising money through being active. It is expected that over a million people will be taking part in The Sport Relief Mile at venues across the country, as well as other events, all to raise money for vulnerable people both across the UK and in poor countries where it is needed most.
It will culminate in a live 'telethon', hosted by Claudia Winkleman, Fearne Cotton, and Gary Lineker on March 23, providing a host of special episodes of our favourite television shows, and live entertainment.
The fundraising is already off to a great start, with David Walliams' contribution of over £1 million following his gruelling sponsored Thames swim of 140 miles. JLS will also be holding a special one-off concert to raise money, which will be at the O2 Arena, London, on March 24. It will see them perform their hit songs, as well as welcome some special guests to the stage. Tickets go on sale at 9.30 on January 20.
