Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood's first solo album in almost a decade will hit stores in September and feature a series of star-studded collaborations.
The rocker has teamed up with Faces bandmate Ian McLagan, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Velvet Revolver's Slash for I Feel Like Playing - a long-awaited follow up to 2001's Not for Beginners.
The disc will be released by independent label Eagle Records on 27 September and is also expected to feature a guest appearance from Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder, who Wood revealed he was working with last year.
It's a busy time for Wood, who is on hiatus with the rest of the Rolling Stones - rather than use the time to rest up, he's currently preparing to tour with the reformed Faces, featuring Mick Hucknall as a stand-in for original frontman Rod Stewart.
