Following on from her 2002 blockbuster, Johnny English, Natalie Imbruglia is currently preparing for her role in an independent Australian film release entitled Elise. Based on Georgia Blain's acclaimed novella ‘Closed for Winter,’ it’s directed by James Bogle, whose previous credits include ‘In The Winter Dark’.“It’s a drama…quite a bleak and really sad story about a family trying to cope with childhood trauma.” explains Natalie in a recent interview.In ten years since her debut, Elise will only be her second film.Meanwhile her new album, Glorious: The Singles 1997-2007, is released on Monday.
