Louie Spence seems to be getting his face everywhere at the moment, and today sees him cashing in on Joe McElderry's gay admission after admitting he knew Joe was gay right from the beginning. Yeah, so did we.
"I really admire him for what he's done. Considering his age, its so brave," said Louie. "I don't think I could've done it - not that I had a choice, to be honest. Not very easy for me to stay in the closet! But I think he's amazing, and it really makes a difference for young gay men struggling with issues. Hopefully one day it won't even be an issue.”
Louie also made a point of telling everything that he always knew Joe batted for the other side as though none of the rest of us were smart enough to pick up on it, "Of course I could tell from the word go he was gay. Most gay men could, but it doesn't mean he wasn't brave to confirm it."
I know you might be proud of your gaydar Louie, but it wasn't just the gay men who could tell, I think you had to be pretty darn daft not to notice.
