Louie Spence admits he joined 'Celebrity Big Brother' for the "pay cheque".
The 53-year-old choreographer, who catapulted into the spotlight after his stint on TV show ‘Pineapple Dance Studios’, has appeared on multiple reality shows throughout the years including ‘The Farm’ and ‘Celebs On A Ranch’, while his 2013 stint in the celebrity version of the iconic show was more of a financially-motivated move.
When asked about his favourite reality show experience, he told the Metro newspaper's Sixty Seconds column: “'The Jump' because it was amazing to learn to ski. I like things that are active and you learn something from.
"'Big Brother' was a pay cheque. I did 'The Farm' and 'Celebs on a Ranch' for Channel 5 – I adore animals so they were a joy. Anything with celebs in it.”
Most recently, Louie appeared on ‘Help! My House is Haunted’ after experiencing paranormal activity in his home - which he shares with his husband Leto Fernandez - and he was told it was the spirit of his late mother.
He said: “We’ve been in our house for a year now but after about six months of living here my agent called me about the show. It was funny because a couple of incidents we couldn’t explain had literally happened just a couple of days before.
“My husband is a big non-believer but even he feels as if someone tapped him on the shoulder. There were strong smells of soap and perfume – and no one smokes and there’s no women in the house.
“The perfume was very sweet and not modern, but it was all from one area. Also the lid came off a box by itself and there was no explanation because it was clipped. So I said, ‘Let’s get them over and see what they say.’ I was frightened – the house has a really lovely feeling and I like living in old houses.”
