Luke Friend this week spoke to Female First in an exclusive interview, and he's now covered Rihanna, Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney smash hit single 'FourFiveSeconds', with incredible results.
Since rising to fame during his time on The X Factor, Luke has gained scores of fans - 'Friendies' - and has a loyal following who are all willing him to succeed.
With his new single 'Hole In My Heart' officially released today and an album coming shortly after, he looks set to take on the world of music with his original style and versatility.
Chatting to Digital Spy about his fellow X Factor finalists Sam Bailey and Nicholas McDonald, he said of their rush-released albums: "Nicholas is such a close friend of mine, and I love Sam Bailey to bits as well. For her, it was very hard because she had a baby on the way, and so in terms of the music career, that obviously didn't help. With Nicholas, I even said to him, 'Are you sure you want to put something out so soon?'
"I know there's that worry that people may forget about you, but people have a memory. For Nicholas, if he works hard enough hopefully he'll be able to bring it back. He got dropped very quickly after his record and stuff, but I love him to bits and I wish all the best for him."
