On November 7 1988, English rapper Tinie Tempah was born Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu.
Starting out in 2005 as an artist, Tinie joined the Aftershock Hooligans and recorded a whole score of songs with his fellow bandmates.
Deciding to leave in 2007 due to a lakc of respect from the label Aftershock Records, he delivered his first mixtape 'Chapter 1: Verse 22', gaining airplay on Channel AKA - a British music channel.
2010 saw him tour with Chipmunk, and he was given his first big break as a musician when Sony launched its new handheld console, the PlayStation Portable, opting to use a track featuring Yasmin and DJ Ironik.
He went on to score the UK number ones 'Pass Out' and 'Written In The Stars' in 2010 and has recently released his second studio album.
With two Brit awards under his belt and success not just in the UK but across the globe, it seems to be just the beginning for the star.
