Former EastEnders star Maisie Smith kicked off her music career last year with infectious debut ‘Good Thing’, and now the star has returned with her brilliant new track 'Not Gonna Cry', the lyric video for which we can exclusively share with Female First readers this afternoon! Check it out below:

Always harbouring a passion for music and performing, Maisie isn’t your typical pop star in the making, with the youngster also playing guitar, composing her music and choreographing her own routines.

Starting her acting career at just four-years-old, Maisie starred alongside Scarlett Johannsson in The Other Boleyn Girl, before moving onto EastEnders aged six, where she played Tiffany Butcher and won a variety of awards.

Now though, with a career in music firmly in her sights, there’s no telling the heights Maisie will be able to go to in the coming months and years. If this new single is anything to judge her by, there’s plenty of fame and fortune ahead.

'Not Gonna Cry' was written by Maisie Smith and Darren Martyn, and will be a part of upcoming EP 'Where My Heart Is'.
