Slam Dunk 2011 announced their first wave of acts this week, and it got us thinking… festival… in Leeds that's not Leeds Festival… who would we like to see playing? Kasiuss of course.
Don't get me wrong, the idea of Less Than Jake, Reel Big Fish, 3oh!3, The Starting Line, We Are The Ocean, Mayday Parade, Framing Hanley, Deaf Havana and MC Lars all under one roof fills me with glee, but should Leeds megababes Kasiuss get on the bill, well, I'd have to pull out my finest outfit.
Let's face it kids, these boys deserve a bit of recognition - they work hard and they're completely amazing at making music, all we need now is for them to load their instruments into the musical cherry picker and rise into the sky.
So, if you want to see Kasiuss added to the Slam Dunk bill this year, sign our petition below and we'll see what we can do. (Either that or send the organisers loads of sweets and crisps with Kasiuss EP's attached.)
