Ibiza Rocks and Mallorca Rocks announce the addition of eight brilliant breakthrough acts to the already scorching hot summer season of live gigs.

Tinie Tempah, Detroit Social Club, Sound of Guns, Goldhawks, Diagram of the Heart, South Central and Frightened Rabbit will join the likes of Biffy Clyro, Calvin Harris, Maximo Park, The Prodigy, Dizzee Rascal and Florence and the Machine at Ibiza Rocks which celebrates its 5th summer season of legendary live shows under the stars from 6 June.

Proving sister event Mallorca Rocks is one of the hottest new gig destinations, one of 2010’s brightest new stars and number one chart topper, Tinie Tempah will support Calvin Harris at the Mallorca Rocks Hotel on 5 July. It’s a double whammy for Tinie who also plays Ibiza Rocks a few weeks later with Chase & Status (live) on 3 August.

On 19 July, Liverpudlian based band Sounds of Guns will support fellow ‘rock and rollers’ The Courteeners. With a raucous, gritty sound, the band has developed a killer reputation for their infectious energy and electrifying live shows. Their Mallorca Rocks performance is set to be explosive.

At Ibiza Rocks, Detroit Social Club will be setting Ibiza alight on 15 June. Fresh from the release of their highly anticipated debut album ‘Existence’, the indie pop rockers from Newcastle will wow the crowds with their epic anthems and sweeping melodious guitar riffs as they play their biggest international gig to date supporting the legend that is Ian Brown.

On 22 June, London five-piece Goldhawks will deliver a smashing set as they support The Courteeners. Formed by frontman and songwriter Bobby Cook, Goldhawks have burst onto the music scene with their distinctive west-London sound.

Euphoric dance-pop newcomers Diagram of the Heart will perform a stomping set before Example and Calvin Harris take to the stage on 6 July. The first signings of Sony's re-launched Deconstruction label, Diagram of the Heart have emerged at the forefront of modern UK pop with their pulsing beats and atmospheric vocals.

The Brighton based South Central will be joining in the official 5th birthday celebrations on 20 July when they support The Prodigy for what is set to be one of the most mind-blowing performances of the year.

On 10 August, Scottish quartet Frightened Rabbit will warm up the crowd before The Kooks’ knock-out show.  Frightened Rabbit will treat the Ibiza crowd to the rich, gloriously anthemic tunes of their third studio album ‘A Winter of Mixed Drinks’.

To top it all off, Reverend Sound System, the dance arm of Sheffield rockers Reverend and the Makers, will be playing two stand out sets at the Ibiza Rocks After Parties at Es Paradis on 22 June and 31 August. The DJ set will be led by frontman Jon McClure on vocals, wife Laura on keys and Jagz Kooner on decks.

Reverend and the Makers have stormed the Ibiza stage several times before but on playing as Reverend Sound System, frontman Jon McClure says ‘Reverend Soundsystem is my party project. Its mission statement is making music like you never heard by the Beatles. Its me touring for 5 years and realising the most exciting music is bassline being made in Sheffield. Ibiza is a mecca for electronic music so it’s only right that one of our first gigs is out there.’
